Here’s The Scariest Bridge In The United States And It’s Leaving Motorists With Panic Attacks

Let me ask you this: Are you afraid of heights? If so, then chances are that attempting to cross this bridge in the United States is likely to leave you with a panic attack. How come? Well, the bridge has been deemed one of the scariest in the country, and for good reason.
Located in state of Maryland, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge reaches nearly 200 feet in certain parts and measures 4.3-miles long from end to end. So it’s no surprise that for some drivers, getting behind the wheel and driving across the bridge is simply unimaginable.
Spanning the Chesapeake Bay, the bridge links the state’s rural Eastern Shore region with the urban Western Shore, making it one of the most important roads in the state. Even so, many drivers would go to extreme lengths just to avoid crossing it.
The bridge was inaugurated July 30, 1952 and the final bill was $ 45 million. When it opened to the public, Chesapeake Bay Bridge was the longest uninterrupted over-water steel structure in the world.
