It was a normal day for waitress Liz Woodward when she saw two firefighters come in. The two men were at the end of a hard day of work and wanted to grab a coffer and something to eat.
Then is when Liz decided to do a simple gesture to somehow thank the two firefighters for the amazing job they do and for putting their lives on the line every single day to save others.
The young woman offered to pay for their breakfast and thought that will be the end of it. After all, she didn’t do it to get anything in return, it was something that came naturally; from the bottom of her heart.
However, that small act of kindness ended up changing her life forever. How come? Well, the two firefighters were so deeply touched by the woman’s kind gesture that they decided to share the wonderful experience they had at the diner on social media.
And that led to them finding out more unexpected things about the generous young waitress. They learned that life hasn’t always been easy on her but that she always overcame all challenges by keeping a positive mindset and focusing on doing good.
