Uber will deliver ice cream to you on Friday

Remember when you were a kid and you’d chase down the ice cream truck?  Magnum, one of the world’s leading ice cream brands, is bringing ice cream bars on demand to Uber users in the UAE.

On July 15, Uber users throughout the UAE will be able to use the Uber app to request a delivery of indulgent Magnum ice cream bars. Magnum bars will be delivered in a matter of minutes via cars and even jet skis, a statement said.

Two cups of exclusive flavours will be made available to Uber riders for #UberIceCream in conjunction with National Ice Cream Month. Each set will include one cup of Onde Onde (traditional local delicacy-flavoured ice cream) and one cup of Valrhona chocolate with white truffle, delivered for just RM15. Four hundred cities around the world will be sharing in the frozen fun tomorrow. So how do you join the global #UberIceCream party?

Just open the Uber app on your smartphone and set your location, then request “ice cream.” A driver will bring the goods to you within minutes, according to an Uber news release.

Uber encourages you to share photos of yourself doing this on social media with the #UberIceCream hashtag, if you’re so inclined.
