We live in a world where is so easy to connect with one another thanks to technology. We can communicate with people who are thousands of miles away, make new friends who are on the other side of the world.
Still, we’ve never felt lonelier, as countless studies have shown. Even in this super connected world we live in, it’s increasingly harder to reach out to someone, make a genuine connection and ask for help. Even so, people have a natural desire to help one another. And the story shown in the video below is proof that this is true.
Sixteen-year-old Maiya James asked for help when her family’s car broke down and needed to be repaired. You see, the girl’s sister has serious health problems which left their entire family in serious debt. So when the car broke down, there’s was no way they could afford to get it fixed.
Trying to help her family, Maiya emailed the owner of a car dealership in her community and asked him to help her out by taking a look at the broken car. But never expected to receive the kind of response she got. You won’t believe what the owner decided to do to help her!
