Being called into the principal’s office is usually not good news. But in the case on the student in the video below, it was all a part of a plan meant to surprise officer Mitch, a man who has become somewhat of a symbol at Heritage High School in Brentwood, CA.
You see, the man is the campus officer there, and quickly managed to find a way to the students’ hearts and win them over. Although he is an authoritative figure, the students see him more like a friend who is always looking out for their best interest than someone who is there to instill order no matter what.
To show their love and appreciation, the students came together to create a massive flash mob to the officer’s favorite song, Macklemore’s “Downtown”.
