Being rude is offensive. Racism is offensive. Bigotry is offensive. And the list could go on forever. There are many legitimate reasons for which a person can be called offensive. But being called offensive for having a southern accent? Now, that just doesn’t make any sense, right?
Well, believe it or not, the man in the video below was deemed as offensive several times by people who follow him on social media merely because he has a particular accent. Chad Prather was told on numerous occasions that his southern accent was “offensive”. Moreover, certain people had told him that the way he sounds makes him sound “not intelligent.”
Tired of all these people hating on him for no legitimate reason, Chad recorded an awesome reply to let people know what he thinks about the subject. The man was unapologetically and said the there are other things that are more important than the way someone sounds. He went on to talk about the education he received from his parents and how he now passes the same healthy values to his children.
At the end of the day, haters are going to hate no matter what. This dude’s response was perfect!
