There are so many reasons to look forwards to winter. Getting to spend the holidays with your family and friends, building snowmen, going skiing, and admire the beauty of nature covered in white; these are just some of the things that make this time of the year so wonderful.
But it’s easy to forget about all of them when you go outside and it’s so cold that you could chip a tooth on your soup. If you live in an area where it gets really cold during the winter, you know exactly what I’m talking about; it’s that feeling of not knowing if you’re going to make it to your car fast enough so that you don’t freeze on the way.
And that there’s the whole ordeal of having to shovel the snow on a constant basis, despite the dreading cold. It can get so annoying that even kids, who are usually the first to smile when it snows, are praying for the snow to melt and spring to come.
