Mermaid Crowns With Real Seashells Are Taking Internet By Storm

When it comes to fashion, trends come and go. What’s the newest trend to take over the Internet? Mermaid crowns.
Time to say goodbye to flower crowns this festival season and check out these beautiful mermaid crowns that can turn any woman into a walking piece of art. Chelsea Shiels, a 27-year-old Melbourne-based florist, has been embracing the flower crown trend when she decided to try something new.
Inspired by the ocean and her favorite cartoon character Ariel, Chelsea came up with the idea to create mermaid crown out of seashells. She’s always been in love with the sea and ocean, and all that mystery that comes along with it. Chelsea describes herself as a real beach bum and admits she’s always wanted to be Ariel growing up.
That is why she started experimenting with different mermaid crown designs. For a while, she kept this unusual passion to herself. After a couple of weeks, she was confident enough to share her work with other people online, and it turned out to be a great decision.
People online took a genuine interest in her creations and appreciated the amount of detail that goes into each one of their creations.
The crowns are the perfect accessory if you want to stand out at a music festival or a themed party. Also, if you’re planning a special photoshoot, wearing one of these crowns will definitely make you feel like a real-life mermaid ready to take over the world.
You won’t be able to find these crowns in the stores (not yet), but if you really want one of your own, you can order them off Etsy. Chelsea sells them on her Etsy shop, and the prices range between 60$ to 150$ per crown.
