Nature is breathtakingly beautiful – there is no doubt about that. But there is also no way to deny the fact that nature can be insanely scary as well. And sometimes, it’s a mixture of both. It’s something that definitely seems to apply to what is going on in the video below.
The footage was captured by a passenger aboard a cruise ship and shows massive waves hurling towards the windows of the cabin. According to a brief description posted alongside the clip, the boat was rocked by a massive storm that included 120 MPH winds.
And believe it or not, the waves crashed more than 30 feet high, so I think it’s safe to say that was a day that no one of the passengers on the ship that day will ever be able to forget. Everyone who decides to go on a cruise expects smooth sailing and sunny days spent on deck with a glass of wine in their hands, but nature has a way of surprising us – and it’s not always in a good way.
I don’t know about you, but even watching this via video from the comfort of my own bed is enough to make my palms sweat.
