The little girl in the video below is only 5-years-old, but she is already an inspiration to many. And it’s no reason why. You see, Rilee was born with Achondroplasia, which is a form of short-limbed dwarfism. The condition stopped her growth, but that doesn’t stop this cutie from enjoying life to its fullest.
Rilee always has a huge smile on her face and an appetite for celebrating life, no matter the hardship she encounters along the way. One of her greatest passions in life is dancing, so in celebration of Dwarfness Awareness Month (October), she put together a special dance, and her performance is going viral.
Rilee’s love for dancing is obvious, but what is more impressive than her spunky choreography is the message it conveys. Rilee wanted viewers from all around the world to know that just because she doesn’t look like other kids her age, she is no different.
She loves to play and has the same energy as any kid her age. She acts silly sometimes, loves to be around other children and make jokes.
It’s sad to think Rilee gets treated like she’s not a normal kid, but little by little, she is breaking down walls and changing perceptions.
