Talent shows provide an excellent opportunity for young talent to step into the spotlight and gain an increased amount of exposure. And sometimes, that first audition is actually the first step into a career that many artists can only dream about.
Such was the case of the little girl in the video below. Amira Willighagen was only nine years old when she first stepped on stage at “Holland’s Got Talent” to share her talent with the world back in 2013. Then, the judges were skeptic when Amira told them that she was prepared to sing an opera, rather than the classic pop songs the judges had expected from a girl her age.
But as soon as the girl started singing, everyone was blown away by the girl’s outstanding vocal abilities. And from that point on, Amira’s career as a singer pretty much skyrocketed. Since her appearance at “Holland’s Got Talent” the girl had the opportunity to sing alongside some of the most famous tenors in the world, and it’s safe to say we will be hearing a lot more of her from now on.
