Instead of paying someone $1000 to remove a tree stump, he drills into the center and pours oil

Do you have a tree stump in your backyard that is just not working for you? Maybe you can’t decorate it so that it fit rights in with the other landscape elements you have going on. Or maybe you just don’t like how it looks overall.
Hiring a professional to remove the tree stump is the easiest solution, but it’s not going to come cheap. It could set you back as much as $1000! If you would rather save this money or use it in a different way, then you’ll be happy to know you can actually take care of this task yourself without having to hire a pro.
The first step is to drill holes into the stump using a power tool like the one in the video below. Next, you have to fill the holes up with plain vegetable oil that you can find pretty much anywhere. I know it might sound weird, but bear with me.
You have to repeat this process for a few consecutive days. The wood needs to become saturated with oil for this method to be truly effective. Once you’ve completed this step, place charcoals on top of the stump. Add another layer of vegetable oil, and set it on fire!
