When they hear about shelter pets waiting to find new homes, most people mostly think about cats and dogs. But the reality is there are all kinds of different animals who are just waiting to be adopted and find a forever home. But it’s much harder for them to find the right owners.
Let’s take horses, for instance. Taking care of a horse is a lot different than taking care of a dog. For once, you need to live in a place that has enough outdoor space so that the horse can run free. So as you can imagine, finding homes for horses can be tricky. No one knows this better than the folks over at Far View horse rescue shelter in Colorado. They need all the help they can get so that they can continue to take care of all the horses they have until they can find the best homes for them.
Luckily, there are also people and companies willing to help. On November 5, 2016, Purina surprised them with a special delivery for their horses. It’s all a part of a bigger projects meant to support shelters like Far View to make sure every horse finds their forever home. Take a look at the video below to watch the beautiful surprise unfold!
