Young mom dies unexpectedly – Neurosurgeon urges everyone to know brain aneurysm warning signs

According to recent statistics made public by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, there is a brain aneurysm rupturing every 18 minutes. Ruptured brain aneurysms result in death in about 40% of cases. It’s unfortunately what happened in the case of a 41-year-old Lee Broadway from North Carolina.
The woman used to get headaches from time to time like many of us do, but one day, she experienced what was the worst migraine of her entire life. And although, Lee went to the hospital immediately, it was too late. The woman suffered from a brain aneurysm and passed away just two days later.
Severe headaches are one of the most common warning signs of a brain aneurysm. However, it is very difficult to make the difference between “just another” migraine and a headache that could indicate a much serious problem.
That is why it is paramount to know as many of the warning signs that indicate that you could be experiencing aneurysm symptoms. In the clip below, Dr. C. Benjamin Newman, independently practicing neurosurgeon on the Methodist Health System medical staff, talks about main symptoms of an aneurysm and how a serious headache can be a determining factor.
